Welcome to the website of the Twin Falls County Employee Council (TFC Employee Council). We are an entity made of county employees who strive to enrich the employee community by putting on employee events, helping our own when in need, and helping local charities.
Different events that you see happen, like the Christmas party, hot dog lunches, and raffles, are all put on by the council. The council also helps sponsor the cornhole tournament, the bounce houses, and the kid prizes at the Employee Picnic each year. In doing these events, we hope to show our appreciation for our fellow employees in the county and foster interdepartmental relationships.
We aim to lift up those in our employee community, which includes being a support in the hard times. The Employee Hardship Assistance Fund is set aside from the council's general fund to help our own in times of need and hardship. Our monetary fund is 100% donation based coming from the employees of the county.
Keeping you in the loop
Each month, after our monthly meetings, the council will send out a newsletter letting you know about upcoming events and how to help. This website will also be a place where you can come for the newest up-to-date information as well as home to the silent auction. You can contact the council through either the website or by emailing those on the council.
How can I get involved?
Our council is made up of volunteers and we are always looking for more people to join. We meet at County West, 1st Floor, Conf Rm A on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:15am. We strive to have employees from each department involved. Speak with your department head if you are interested in joining.
We are also completely donation supported. By bidding on the silent auction, purchasing raffle tickets, direct support, or volunteering your time, you make a difference in our work environment to foster a community that cares for each other.
